In a new development, Suriya is reportedly in talks with Kannada director Narthan for a large-scale project. Narthan, renowned for directing Shiva Rajkumar's blockbuster 'Mufti,' has now directed a prequel to 'Mufti' titled 'Bhairathi Ranagal,' which is slated for release on August 15. If negotiations go well, this collaboration might materialize soon.

KVN Productions, the production house involved in these talks, is currently producing Rocking Star Yash's 'Toxic' and is expected to bankroll Thalapathy Vijay's 'Thalapathy 69.' This news has gone viral, although an official confirmation is still awaited.
