Suriya to act in a biopic drama once again? – Red hot updates

We already updated you that the blockbuster ‘Soorarai Pottru’ combo might possibly team up for a movie once again. Now, it is confirmed that Suriya will be starring in another film under Sudha Kongara’s direction after the Bala movie and ‘Vaadivasal’. 

Sudha Kongara, in an interview with a TV channel, reportedly said that she will again be reuniting with Suriya for a new film. She added that their next film will be an adaptation of a true story. It is yet to be known whether the project is built around a real incident or a full-fledged biopic. 

It is worth mentioning that Suriya’s last three films are based on real-life incidents. ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is a biopic, ‘Jai Bhim’ is an adaptation of a true case and ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ is a fictional story based on the Pollachi issue. He also has Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vaadivasal’ in the pipeline, which is a cinematic adaptation of CS Chellapa’s novel of the same name. 

Suriya is currently shooting at Kanyakumari for ‘Suriya 41’, directed by Bala. Sources also say that Suriya is joining forces with director Siruthai Siva for an untitled film with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
