As Suriya's 'C3' aka Singam 3` is all set to roar at the box – office on January 26th, the actor visited his fans in Kerala today as part of his movie promotion. The actor who had a warm welcome in the state from thousands of fans, had a surprise meet with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who was one of his co-passengers in the flight to Trivandrum from Kochi. Suriya who greeted the CM in the flight, was completely bowled over by his simplicity.

Talking about his experience meeting Pinarayi Vijayan, the actor said, “I was surprised to know that a chief minister of a state could be this simple and down to earth. Usually, the VIPs in a flight are asked to leave before other passengers. However, Pinarayi Vijayan was the last to come out of the flight," said the elated actor. He further added that meeting Pinarayi Vijayan was more like a school student meeting up his headmaster. "His simplicity reminded me of my teachers," added Suriya.
