Breaking: Suriya's Soorarai Pottru to have a direct OTT release!

In an unexpected news for kollywood, it has been announced officially that the Suriya starrer, Irudhi Suttru fame director Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru will premiere worldwide on Amazon prime video on October 30.
The movie which also stars Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu has music by GV Prakash. Suriya has released a press note stating that almost 10 movies are being made under his 2D Entertainment and the decision to release Soorarai Pottru was made considering the teams associated with these movies.
Suriya has also announced that an amount of Rs 5 crores will be given, shared among the public, people from the film industry, frontline warriors who have worked hard and fought selfless in the battle against Coronavirus, and added that further details on the amount distribution will be announced soon.
