Exciting update on Suriya's Soorarai Pottru release!

While it was initially announced that actor Suriya's Soorarai Pottru will have a direct OTT release skipping theatres on Amazon prime video on October 30, the film's release met with an issue as several NOCs were yet to be cleared.
Now it has been officially announced that the NOC had been cleared. Rajasekar Pandian from 2D Entertainment tweeted We got the NOC ???????????? #SooraraiPottru #AnbaanaFans Get ready for updates and new release date!! Festival of Lights ??????, confirming the news.
Now, a new release date coinciding with Diwali festival will soon be announced by the team. Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru also stars Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi and Mohan Babu and has music scored by GV Prakash.
