‘Sodakku’ might already be a chartbuster among music fans, but AIADMK’s Sathish Kumar wasn't snapping his fingers to the song all the while. Sathish has submitted a petition in the Commissioner’s office to impose a ban on the hit number as well.

‘Sodakku’ is from Anirudh’s latest album for Suriya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ directed by Vignesh Shivn. The complainant has stated that the song instils violence among the youngsters and that severe action must be taken upon its composer and producer as well.

The song’s lyrics has a reference ‘karai vaeti vellai sattai pottavanai paatha verati verati velukka thonuthu’  roughly translated to having intentions of beating up a politician. It is worth mentioning here that the anti establishment lyrics of the song has already been receiving flak from several poltical corners.
