Suriya is now busy with the works of his magnum opus film helmed by director Siruthai Siva. The project is addressed by its working title 'Suriya 42' currently and the makers have confirmed that the movie's title will be unveiled by this month. UV Creations and Studio Green are bankrolling this film on a grand scale.

It is already reported that the story of Suriya 42 is taking place in various time periods: past and present. The team has already shot the present portions and planning to start the filming of the period portions soon. Dhananjayan, the CEO of Studio Green, revealed some exciting updates about the development of this much-awaited film.

Dhananjayan said that the shooting of the flashback portions will go on for around 60 to 80 days. The team had planned 180 shooting days in total for the movie. He also revealed that Suriya 42 is just the first part and the makers have a story for the sequel. According to sources, Suriya will sport multiple looks and play several characters in this film.

Disha Patani is playing the female lead of Suriya 42 with Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Redin Kingsley, Anand Raj and Ravi Raghavendra in pivotal roles. The technical team includes Devi Sri Prasad as the music director, Madhan Karky and Adi Narayana as the writers, Vetri Palanisamy as the cinematographer, Milan as the art director and Nishadh Yusuf as the editor.
