Suriya the top hero of Kollywood known for his hard work and dedication to his craft is currently shooting for the final leg of his upcoming film 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures.

The busy star actor who has already completed shooting for 'Jai Bhim' directed by T.G. Gnanavel was supposed to start work on Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivasal' next. But since Vetrimaran is yet to complete the Soori-Vijay Sethupathi starter 'Viduthalai', Surya has decided to act in a film directed by Siruthai Siva before that.

The Suriya-Siva project was announced in 2019 itself and was to go on floors immediately after Thala Ajith's 'Viswasam' but since Siva got the opportunity to direct Superstar Rajinikanth, Suriya adjusted for his childhood friend.

We already brought to you the news that the project produced by Studio Green will go on floors in November. Now the hot news is that sets are being erected for the Suriya-Siva film at a private studio in Chennai.

Sources say that once Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' releases on Diwali around November 4th, Siruthai Siva will focus entirely on the Suriya film and is planning to complete it within three to four months and release at the end of 2022. It is noteworthy that Siruthai Siva is nearing the completion of the post-production work after completing the shooting of the film 'Annatha' which is already starring superstar Rajinikanth.
