Suriya and his fans are on cloud nine as the actor's 'Rolex' character in 'Vikram' became a nationwide sensation and he won the National Award for Best Actor right away. He then announced a magnum opus project with director Siruthai Siva and the brand-new combo which garnered huge attention even before the official announcement.
Suriya & Siruthai Siva's upcoming film is tentatively titled 'Suriya 42'. The makers launched the motion poster video of Suriya 42 this morning, as we reported earlier. The 1.5-minute video opens with a majestic shot of a mighty eagle flying above the clouds. As it jumps down the clouds, we are shown that the eagle flies over a battlefield as the house names are introduced to us.
Arathar, Venkaater, Mandaankar, Mukaatar and Perumanathar are the five different clans that are engaged in the battle. Then, the eagle flies across the battlefield and rests on the shoulder of a fierce warrior who is watching the battle from a hilltop. We can assume that the warrior whose back pose is shown is Suriya. The movie is said to be a prestigious and stunning fantasy fiction to be made in two parts.
'Suriya 42' is going to be a massive budget Pan-Indian project. It will be made in 3D and will be released in 10 languages. Disha Patani is playing the leading lady while Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala and Anand Raj are brought in for important roles. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the musical score and it has Vetri Palanisamy as cinematographer and Milan as art director.
KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green is associated with Vamsi Pramod's UV Creations to bankroll this epic project. Supreme Sundar will take care of the action choreography. Siruthai Siva's associate Adi Narayana will serve as the writer of the movie while Madhan Karky is in charge of the dialogues.
