After two long years, the fans will get to see Suriya on the big screens in the mass entertainer 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan', written and directed by Pandiraj and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. Yesterday, we updated you that the second single 'Ullam Urugudhaiya' from ET was launched by the makers. D Imman has scored music for the film.
The romantic number 'Ullam Urugudhaiya' is a songe set to praise Suriya's beauty. The track's title and first line were inspired by the old Tamil religious song for Lord Murugan sung by TM Soundararajan. The versatile actor will be seen in several charming looks including a Lord Muruga look. Now, the handsome hero has revealed that he felt shy for a song shoot after a long time in Etharkkum Thunindhavan.
Suriya shared the production house's tweet about the song and captioned, "Romba shyyy patta song after a long time..! Directoreyy!! ?? (sic)." Meanwhile, the lord Muruga look of Suriya from Etharkkum Thunindhavan made the fans to recall the look from his childhood pics and they also compared him with his father Sivakumar, who had also acted as Lord Muruga in one of his films.
Etharkkum Thunindhavan is reported to be a rural entertainer with strong message. Priyanka Mohan pairs with Suriya while Vinay Rai playes the baddie. Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori, MS Bhaskar and CWC Pugazh play supporting roles. The film is set to open in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on the big screens from February 4, 2022.
