Suriya is known for his different genre entertainers and versatile performances. He goes to any extent to thrill all his fans and movie lovers. to In a surprising turn of events, Suriya, the acclaimed star of Kollywood renowned for his stellar performances, encountered an injury on the sets of his highly anticipated project, "Kanguva," leading to an abrupt halt in filming. Under the direction of Siruthai Siva, the shooting was in progress at a film city in Chennai, where an elaborate set had been meticulously crafted.

Reports suggest that a mishap unfolded when a rope camera lost control during the shooting, accidentally falling onto Suriya and resulting in shoulder injuries. Fortunately, the incident was minor, sparing the actor from any significant harm. Following medical advice, Suriya has been prescribed a two-week period of bed rest to facilitate a speedy recovery.

Concerns over Suriya's well-being prompted fans to make frantic calls and flood social media with inquiries. In the midst of this, Suriya, much to the relief of all, provided an update to delight his fans. Sharing the update, Suriya posted, "Dear Friends, well-wishers & my #AnbaanaFans Heartfelt thanks for the outpouring ‘get well soon’ msgs.. feeling much better.. always grateful for all your love :)"

Fans are heaving a sigh of relief after Suriya's reassuring update and have already started praying for his quick recovery. In "Kanguva," Suriya takes on six distinct roles, supported by a stellar ensemble cast featuring Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar, and B. S. Avinash. Notably, "Kanguva" marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. Scheduled for a theatrical release in early 2024, the film will be presented in standard, 3D, and IMAX formats.
