Actor Suriya, who was last seen on screen in the heist flick Thanaa Serndha Koottam is all set to have two releases this year back to back, with the political thriller NGK directed by Selvaraghavan, which is slated to hit screens on May 31, and Kaappaan which is releasing two months later.

Kaappaan marks the third collaboration of KV Anand and Suriya after Ayan and Maattrraan, and will have Suriya playing an NSG commando and a protector of the nation and the Prime minister played by Mohanlal. The movie also stars Sayyeshaa, Arya, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani and many others.

Recently, KV Anand shot a song sequence featuring Suriya and Sayyeshaa in the exotic locations of Java, in Indonesia, choreographed by Shobi. KV Anand has always been known for his knack of showcasing unseen serene locations in a breathtaking manner in songs in movies, and Kaappaan will be no exception. Kaappaan is scheduled to release on August 30.
