Actor Suriya's upcoming mega budget project '24' teaser released earlier this month and it has raised the expectations over the Vikram Kumar directed sci-fi flick to the sky high level. The audio launch is expected to be conducted by the end of this month and the film is expected to hit the screens in April.

But now we get to know that the film's release may be delayed due to excessive computer graphic related works. The unit does not want to take any risk in bringing out the final product as a perfect summer treat to the audience and the makers have apparently postponed the release plans to the later half of May that is after the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.

An official confirmation is expected to clear the air and confirm the release date.

Suirya has acted in triple roles in the film that includes one negative character. Samantha and Nithya Menen have acted as the female leads of this film which has the musical score of A.R.Rahman.
