After an unconventional entertainer like '24', Suriya is presently busy shooting for 'S3' directed by Hari, which will hit the screens either in October or November.

There has been suspense about Suriya's next film. While in Hyderabad before the release of 'Kabali', director Pa.Ranjith said that his next was going to be with Suriya, with whom he had had wanted to work after 'Madras'. But nothing has been heard about this project since the release of 'Kabali'. Another director's name (Muthiah) was heard in Chennai circles.

The handsome and talented actor, however, is not going to work with any of these. It's now officially confirmed that director Vignesh Sivan will be directing Suriya in the latter's 35th film. Vignesh Sivan, as you know, has been in news as Nayanatara's special friend.

'Suriya 35' will be produced by Suriya under his 2D Entertainment banner along with KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner. Anirudh Ravichander of Kolaveri Di fame will be doing the musical score. This is first film with Suriya for Anirudh.

The heroine and other cast and crew members of the film are yet to be finalized and the announcement of their names can be expected soon.
