The Vikram Kumar directorial raked Rs. 17 cr by the end of Sunday in the Telugu version alone. This is touted to be the highest-ever opening weekend figure for Suriya. As per trade reports, advance bookings are in full swing as of Monday.

In the home turf Chennai, the film has crossed the Rs. 1 cr mark with ease. In the first three day weekend (May 6-May 8), the film has collected Rs.1,62,79,725 in Chennai city box office. The film is running in 21 theaters within the city limits. 333 shows were screened in the first three days with a whopping 95% theater occupancy.
Even in overseas, 24 is creating BO sensation. By the end of Saturday, the film raked up Rs. 5.62 cr in the US and Canada markets put together.
