Suriya, who is one of the most sought-after heroes in Tamil cinema, was only seen in the direct OTT release movies in the last two years. While the fans were desperately waiting to witness a Suriya movie in theatres, it was announced that the star actor's next outing 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' will have a grand theatrical release.

'ET' is a mass rural drama written and directed by Pandiraj and backed by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The family entertainer was initially scheduled to release on February 4 in five languages but was pushed to a later date due to a rise in covid cases and lockdown. Now, the production house took to Twitter to announce that Etharkkum Thunindhavan will hit the screens worldwide on March 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Priyanka Mohan plays the lead lady and Vinay plays the villain while Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajkiran, Soori, M.S.Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Redin Kingsley, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasu, Tiger Thangadurai and CWC Pugazh are cast in supporting roles. D Imman has composed the songs and the musical score for Etharkkum Thunindhavan.
