Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Moonga is producing the exciting 'Soorarai Pottru' inspired by the life of Indian private aviation pioneer Captain Gopinath. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and has Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. Veteran superstar Mohan Babu joined the sets last week playing a pivotal role.

Suriya's next release is 'Kaappaan' directed by K.V. Anand and costarring Mohan Lal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani which is expected in August 2019.
