Actor Suriya's mega action entertainer 'S3' will be the next big release in Kollywood. The teaser of the film carried the signature of 'Singam' franchise and has been watched by over two and a half million people within 24 hours.

From the teaser and also from the fact that the film has been predominantly shot in Vizag, it is clear that the main plot of the story will be mainly set in Andhra Pradesh. Many who have watched the teaser looks apt to captivate Telugu audience also.

'Singam' the first instalment of this blockbuster series started off in a small town in Tuticorin district and then the story moves to Chennai. 'Singam 2' the sequel started in Tuticorin where the lead character Durai SIngham IPS works as an undercover agent and then takes charge. From there the story moves to locations in Kerala and flies abroad to Africa.

Now in 'S3' we learn from a reliable source that the story starts with Suriya working as a cop in Andhra Pradesh. Even in the stills and the teaser the cop attire he wears resembles the one worn by AP cops and not Tamil Nadu cops. Apparently predominant part of the film takes place in the Telugu speaking states. We will have to wait for the film's release to get a complete picture.

The change of state may be a decision to cater to Suriya's growing popularity among Telugu audience. It is worth noting that many of the versatile actor's films have been highly successful in Telugu and Suriya is a household name among Telugu speaking people. Even his last release, the highly experimental '24' had a grand release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana where the film raked in huge box office collections.

We wish 'S3' writes a bigger success story in Tamil as well as Telugu.
