Is this Suriya’s mass getup for his next movie?

Suriya’s much awaited movie ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by Sudha Kongara is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on October 30th.  The film loosely based on aviation pioneer G.R. Gopinath’s life has music score by G.V. Prakash Kumar and has Aparna Balamurali as Suriya’s pair supported by Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal.

Meanwhile a new photo of Suriya with long hair has gone viral on the internet raising speculations that it is his new getup for ‘Vaadivasal’ directed by Vetrimaaran.  We have already reported that Vetrimaaran is directing a new movie with Soori as the hero and will helm the Suriya project only later in 2021.

Suriya on the other hand has planned to act in two movies simultaneously starting from January 2021.  One is a family entertainer directed by Pandiraj and the other is his own production directed by Gnanavel of ‘Kootathil Oruthan’ fame in which he plays an advocate.  

This new mass getup could be for any of the three projects of Suriya or it might even be a casual look that he will sport till he gets back to the sets in the New Year.
