Actor Suriya is gearing up for the release of his much expected 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' scheduled to hit the screens on Janauary 12, 2017 for the Pongal festival weekend. The actor will also start shooting for the film directed by Selvaraghavan which will be the former's 36th film as an actor. 

Suriya  was in Hyderabad on Sunday for the promotions of 'Gang' the Telugu version of 'TSK' which will be released along with the original. During the promotions. the actor hinted that his next film that is 'Suriya 37' will be directed by K.V.Anand. 

Suriya and Anand have earlier worked for the super hit 'Ayan' and 'Maattraan' which is the first Indian film about conjoined twins. 

Suriya also hinted about teaming up with directors Vikram Kumar and Hari for his next outings in future.
