Suriya never fails to surprise his fans with his choice of movie scripts and recently he gave two memorable films 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara for which he won the National Award and 'Jai Bhim' directed by T.J. Gnanavel which knocked at the Oscars.

Suriya is currently starring in the two part fantasy adventure film 'Suriya 42' directed by Siruthai Siva and jointly produced on a grand scale by UV Creations and Studio Green. The principal photography for both the films costarring Disha Patani will be wrapped up later this year.

It is well known that Suriya will next act in Vetrimaaran's ambitious 'Vaadivaasal' produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Meanwhile there have been several reports about him also acting in another movie simultaneously. He has commitments with both Sudha and Gnanavel but since the former is busy with her immediate projects and the latter with Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170' they may be pushed further.

Now the hot news coming in from Tollywood is that director Hanu Raghavapudi who directed last year's critically acclaimed pan Indian blockbuster romance flick 'Sita Ramam' is the hot favorite to direct Suriya next. The audiences loved the Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika starrer so much that they cant wait for his next.

It was already reported a few months back that Hanu met Suriya and narrated a double hero subject to him which he loved and also suggested that Ram Charan Teja will be the best choice to star alongside him. Now it is said that the project is firming up and an official announcement will come pretty soon. Lets wait and watch.
