Suriya and Karthi the sons of veteran actor Sivakumar are not only two of the highest-rated star actors in South Indian cinema but also follow their father's footsteps in philanthropic activities as well. Suriya head the Agaram Foundation Trust that helps for the higher studies of the underprivileged and Karthi runs the Uzhavan Foundation that aids farmers.

Monday the 20th October was a joyful day for the Sivakumar family as Karthi became dad to his second child a son. Karthi and his wife Ranjani are already parents to a daughter Umayal.

Suriya has posted on social media a thanks message to famous doctor Nirmala Jayashankar and writing "We are Blessed" in response Kathi's message ""Dear friends and family, we are blessed with a boy baby. We can’t thank enough our doctors and nurses who took us through this life-changing experience. Folded hands need all your blessings for the little one. Thank you, god!"

Suriya and his wife Jyothika have two children daughter Diya and son Dev and now they have another sibling to play with and are said to be super happy to welcome him into the family.
