Actor Suriya is all set to have his first release of the year with Selvaraghavan directorial political entertainer NGK co-starring Sai pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh and this movie is all set to release on May 31. Within two months, Suriya will have his second release, KV Anand's Kaappaan on August 30.

Following these two projects, Suriya is acting in Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara directorial Soorarai Pottru which is said to be the biopic of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and he had also recently signed the next production venture of Studio Green, directed by Siva, fresh from the success of Viswasam.

Now the latest news making rounds is that, Managaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has impressed Thalapathy Vijay with his script which is said to be a gangster drama. has also narrated a script to Suriya and this will be a fantasy entertainer on the lines of the comic superhero Steel Claw. Lokesh has just wrapped Karthi starrer Kaithi, which is in post production phase.It is to be seen whether Suriya has given his final nod for this fantasy entertainer.
