Suriya and Madhavan two of the most intense star actors in pan Indian cinema created magic together in Mani Ratnam's 'Aayudha Ezhuthu'. Maddy played a remorseless villain against Suriya who played a student leader turned politican. The duo have been fast friends from that time and their families are also very close to each other. Suriya made a cameo appearance in Madhavan's directorial debut movie 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect'. Maddy has also done the same in 'Magalir Mattum' produced by Suriya and starring Jyothika.

Now there is a buzz that Madhavan has been approached for a major character in Suriya's upcoming film 'Suriya 43' directed by Sudha Kongara. Sources say that there is a high likelihood of the pan Indian star to give his nod. The reason is not only his friendship with Suriya but he is also close to Sudha who gave him 'Irudhi Suttru' that served as a major comeback to him. The film changed his image from a chocolate boy to a rugged ex-boxer.

It is already speculated that 'Suriya 43' has music by G.V. Prakashkumar and stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim in major characters. Lets wait for the official confirmation on all these buzzes soon.

Madhavan is currently acting in 'Test' directed by Sashikanth and costarring Nayanthara, Meera Jasmine and Siddharth. He is also teaming up with Jyothika for a supernatural thriller that also has Ajay Devgn in the cast. Suriya is shooting for 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva after which he is expected to star in Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal'.
