Suriya, who was recently seen in the political thriller NGK directed by Selvaraghavan, co-starring Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, will be seen next on screen in the action thriller Kaappaan directed by KV Anand, and produced by Lyca Productions.

Kaappaan will have Suriya playing an NSG commando, while Malayalam legend Mohanlal plays the Indian Prime Minister in the movie. Kaappaan also stars Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani and Chirag Jani and has music scored by Harris Jayaraj.

Tollywood director SS Rajamouli today released the Telugu version poster and the title of Kaappaan in Telugu, and it has been announced that the Telugu version has been titled Bandobast. Kaappaan is the third movie from Suriya - KV Anand team, after Ayan and Maattrraan and releases on August 30.
