It is well known that Suriya's magnum opus 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva has been in production for more than a year. Now, sources tell us that the movie has reached the final stages of filming. Kanguva chronicles the events that happen in the modern world and period world. The makers have shot the venture in dense forests.

As per the latest reports, the Kanguva team including Suriya landed in Thailand this morning. They will start shooting for the final schedule of the film tomorrow at the beach and forest areas in the country. This leg of filming is expected to go on for nearly 25 days. Suriya will wrap his portions entirely with this schedule and move to 'Suriya 43' next.

It is worth mentioning that Suriya has already informed the fans that he will start working for 'Suriya 43' directed by Sudha Kongara in late October/November. Kanguva sees Suriya portraying a tribal leader in the mighty valiant saga produced by Studio Green and UV Studios. The CGI works are progressing simultaneously.

The team is planning to present Kanguva in 3D and in ten languages. We hear that Kanguva is aiming for a grand theatrical release in April 2024. It stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natty Natraj, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, BS Avinash, KS Ravikumar and others with music scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
