Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ shooting follows Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ style! – Deets inside

Suriya and director Siruthai Siva came together for ‘Kanguva’, which is one of the most awaited Kollywood movies. The film’s shooting kicked off in August 2022 and marching towards the final stages. Studio Green and UV Creations are bankrolling this mega-budget fantasy action movie with Suriya in multiple roles.

It is already reported that the story of Kanguva will take place in different timelines. The makers started shooting for the periodic portions after wrapping the present portions. Now, sources tell us that a grand song in periodic backdrop is being shot by the team. The buzz is that more than 1500 dancers are taking part in the song shooting and tagged as the most extravagant song in Suriya career.

It is worth mentioning that more than 1500 dancers worked in the song sequence ‘Naa Ready’ in Thalapathy Vijay’s biggie ‘Leo’. This song was launched as the first single of the movie and is trending now. Suriya’s Kanguva is having a song in ‘Leo’ style now and it is the talk of the town. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the musical score for Kanguva.

The star cast of Kanguva comprises Suriya, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj, redin Kingsley, KS Ravikumar, KGF Avinash, Ravi Raghavendra and others. The technical crew includes Vetri Palanisamy and Nishadh Yusuf as cinematographer and editor respectively. Kanguva is scheduled to hit the screens in early 2024 in 2D as well as 3D formats.
