Suriya is now a National Award-winning actor. The versatile performer won it last year for 'Soorarai Pottru' after being denied the same for many impeccable performances throughout the years. Meanwhile, we all know that he is currently working on the magnum opus film, 'Kanguva', directed by Siruthai Siva.
Kanguva is said to be a period fantasy adventure and the makers recently started shooting for the historical portions. A few days ago, the team wrapped up a schedule in Kodaikanal and started the prep work for the next schedule. The movie requires a grand set and VFX works. In the meantime, Suriya is shaping up his body to shoot for the much-awaited film.
A new photo of Suriya working out in a gym went viral on social media yesterday. The Singam actor is gaining weight and working for a stunning physique to play a mighty warrior in Kanguva. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Disha Patani plays the female lead with music by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is set to release on a festival date in 2024.
