When a female celebrity gave love letter to Suriya in front of Jyothika – Check video

The love story of Suriya and Jyothika is as interesting as the love movies they have acted together in.  It was love at first sight for them when they worked together in ‘Poovellam Kettupaar’ and blossomed during the seven films they shared screenspace.

The power couple tied the knot in 2006 and are proud parents of Dia and Dev and are continuing their inspiring long time partnership.  Meanwhile popular dance choreographer Poppy in an interview to a Telugu media has shared that she had a crush on Suriya since her school days.

Poppy stated that she worked as an assistant dance choreographer in ‘Kaakka Kaakka’ and by that time was deeply in love with the top hero.  During the shooting of the song “Ennai Konjam Maaatri” she got free time since it had less dance moves and only featured a jeep ride.  

Poppy then had written a love letter and at the break time gave it to Suriya who was shocked and ran away from the place.  Later he had told her that he was already in a relationship with Jyothika and she should have approached him much earlier.

Poppy has also shared that Jyothika then tried to console her but she asked her to give up Suriya for her.  Jyo apparently took it in a sporting manner and the family including Suriya and Karthi are still good friends with Poppy.
