Suriya and Jyothika the most adorable star couple of Kollywood fell in love during their debut movie 'Poovellaam Kettupar' released in 1999. The couple's onscreen chemistry was so good that fans wanted them in more and more films and they too obliged by costarring in 'Uyirile Kalandhadhu', 'Kakka Kaakka', 'Perazhagan', 'Maayavi' and 'June R'.

Suriya and Jyothika last worked together in 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal' released in the year 2006 the same year they got married and the bubbly actress took a break to start her family. The couple have two children Diya and Dev and in 2016, Jo made a comeback with '36 Vayadhinile' and is continuing to work in powerful female-centric films tasting huge box office success.

Fans of both Suriya and Jyothika are yearning for them to reunite on-screen and Suriya in one of his recent interviews has revealed that one such project is in the works and will soon be announced.

According to Suriya his film with wife Jyothika will be directed by Halitha Thameem of 'Sillukarupatti' fame and will be produced by popular Malayalam director Anjali Menon of 'Bombay Days' fame. The official announcement is expected soon.
