Suriya one of the most intense and hardworking stars in South India hit yet another peak in his career with the critically acclaimed film 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara. The film has gone to the Oscars and both Suriya and Aparna Balamurali are in with a chance to bring home the coveted Best Actor or Best Actress statutes.

On February 7th Suriya revealed that he has tested positive for COVID 19 and underwent treatment for several days after which he recovered and got discharged from the hospital he was admitted to.

Now Suriya and Jyothika along with a few family members recently attended the inauguration of a new school in Palavakkam Chennai. A video that has gone viral shows the star actor being shown around the premises and he points to a beautiful aquarium to one of the children with him.

Suriya who has already finished shooting for the Netflix anthology film 'Navarasa' produced by Mani Ratnam and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon will soon join the sets of his 'Suriya 40' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures in which he is romancing Priyanka Arul Mohan.
