Suriya launches the trailer of his upcoming OTT film ‘RARA’! - Latest

Indiaglitz had already updated you that Suriya's 2D Entertainment has sealed a four-film deal with Amazon Prime Video to premiere the four flicks in four months including the star's courtroom drama 'Jai Bhim'. The latest is that Suriya has launched the trailer of 'Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum', the first release out of the 4 movies.

Sharing the link, the star wrote, "Every film should entertain & make an impact, I believe this new team has made a strong one. Hope you like it! #RaameAandalumRaavaneAandalum trailer #RARAOnPrime24Sep @PrimeVideoIN." The trailer of RARA proves his words to be true. The political satire looks comical and responsible as well.

Directed by Arisil Moorthy, RARA features an ensemble cast of Ramya Pandian, Vani Bhojan, Mithun Manickam and Vadivel Murugan. According to the streamer, the movie is a social satire, themed around a village and its oddities offering a heady mix of humour and drama replete with human emotions.

The story follows Kunnimuthu, a 35-year-old farmer and his wife Veerayi, who lose their bulls - Karuppan and Vellaiyan. Out of despair, Kunnimuthu sets out in search of the missing cattle. What manifests then out of the intervention of media and politics sets the latter of the quest.

The title is lifted from the evergreen song of the same name from Superstar Rajinikanth’s Mullum Malarum (1978). Produced by Suriya and Jyothika, famous singer Krrish has composed music for this satire comedy. Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum will release on Amazon Prime Video on September 24.
