Suriya is the chief guest at IFFI final day

Panaji in Goa will be decked today what with stars from all over the country coming together to celebrate the 42nd IFFI from today. While King Khan will declare the ceremony open in just a few hours from now, Suriya will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony!

The curtains will drop down on the eve of December 3, the closing day of the event. This prestigious event will see the screening of more than a 100 films panning 65 countries. This is one of the most eminent film functions that is organized by the Govt. of India every year.

The event will see luminaries and film personalities from across the globe. Moreover this year’s concept has been designed by the country’s leading art director Thota Tharani. Sources reveal that more novelty has been introduced into the events from this year.

The 42nd IFFI will be declared open today at Ravindra Bhavan in the town of Margao. The seating capacity at this venue is a huge hall which can hold nearly a 1000 guests in its fullest capacity. This year’s event will witness the presence of Luc Besson, Bertrand Tavernier, Michelle Yeoh, Laurance Kardish, and Dan Wolman along with India’s Adoor Gopalakrishnan among guests.
