It is well known that Suriya is now busy with the shooting of his upcoming film, 'Kanguva'. The magnum opus venture directed by Siruthai Siva kicked off last year and the filming is now close to the finish line. The final schedule is going on with Suriya and Bobby Deol in EVP Film City in Chennai currently.

Now, the shocking news is that there was a minor accident at the Kanguva shooting spot last night around 11 PM. Reportedly, a rope camera got cut and fell on Suriya's shoulders while capturing a build-up shot. The actor suffered a minor blow as per the reports. However, he and the crew members are safe with minor injuries.

Sources say that today's shooting was cancelled. We hear that the doctors advised two weeks of bed rest to Suriya. It is yet to be seen if the shoot will be halted during the actor rests. Notably, he was expected to wrap up shooting for his portions in Kanguva this month and the entire filming was slated to be over by next month. There may be a slight delay in the plans now.

Kanguva produced by Studio Green and UV Creations is a period fantasy entertainer made at a huge budget. The film is slated to release in nearly 38 languages in 2D, 3D and IMAX. The star cast boasts Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natty Natraj, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and many others with music by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is set to be released in April 2024.
