There is nothing about 7th Sense (7 Aam Arivu in Tamil) that has not been written about. From its huge budget of Rs. 80 cr. to its hit combination of Suriya and AR Murugadoss and Suriya's six-pack abs for a Kung Fu sequence, the film has been in news from the day its logo was unveiled.

Rumours about its supposed inspiration from Inception, which have been quashed by the director, apart, the film is awaited for the three distinct get-ups of Suriya.

This is the reason why the Telugu tagline reads 'Choodani Avataram.' Peter Hynes has composed the action sequences and Ravi K Chandran has wielded the camera.

There is much hype around the film because it belongs to the sci-fi genre. Comparisons with Rajinikanth's Robot have been made. Be it in terms of the high cost (Robot was a costlier film though) and the unseen movie-watching and cinematic experiences promised by the makers, 7th Sense has much in common with Robot.

It is for this reason that its opening collections are expected to be as high as that of Robot.
