Suriya is currently working under Siruthai Siva's direction in the magnum opus, tentatively called 'Suriya 42'. The period action drama is reported to have Suriya in multiple roles and the makers have completed several schedules across the country. Now, we have hot news about the next leg of filming.

According to sources, the team has started shooting for the action-packed scenes from today (Feb 10). A huge set that looks like the interior of an Aeroplane has been erected in a film city in Chennai. Recently, Disha Patani posted a video of herself practicing martial arts. It is believed that she was preparing to perform the exhilarating action blocks of Suriya 42.

Reportedly, the periodic portion of the film has been planned to be shot in March or April and the much-awaited film will be hitting the big screens in the second half of 2023. Jointly produced by Studio Green and UV Studios, Suriya 42 is being made in 3D and aiming for a super big release in 10 languages with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
