Surya's latest movie 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan'' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures was released recently and was well received audiences. Critics also praised Suriya and Priyanka Arul Mohan's bold characters that conveyed how a couple should battle breach of privacy in this modern tecnhologically advanced times.

Surya, in an interview has shared that his daughter Diya spoke to him in length after watching 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' and praised his acting and his role. She also placed the film on par with his recent critically acclaimed films 'Soorarai Pottru' and 'Jai Bhim'.

Similarly Suriya said that his son Dev too liked the film a lot and told him that he has never seen him in such an angry avatar against evil men. The hardworking star actor expressed his happiness over 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' becoming a commercial hit at the box office.

Suriya is all set to begin shooting for a new movie directed by Bala in which Jyothika is playing his pair while Atharvaa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Kriti Shetty are also said to be on board.
