Suriya one of the highest-rated star actors in South Indian cinema is equally known for his philanthropist activities. He also leads by example to his fans by initiating social services and in his clear political stands.
Suriya and his wife Jyothika on June 23rd took their first dose of the vaccines for coronavirus and shared the pics on social media to encourage fans to follow suit. Suriya has now made arrangements to a COVID 19 Vaccination Camp on July 6th and 7th, in collaboration with Chennai Corporation, The actors and technicians working in the films produced by his home banner 2D Entertainment who are not yet immunized will benefit from it.
The films that are produced under the banner include two starring Jyothika, one with Arun Vijay and his son Arnav, a Ramya Pandian-Vani Bhojan starrer and 'Suriya 39' directed by Gnanavel. Around three hundred personnel working in these and other projects will be benefitted.
Suriya is also gearing up to resume shooting of his new movie 'Suriya 40' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures with D. Imman scoring the music. The film has Suriya and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead roles with Vinay, Sathyaraj, Soori and Saranya Ponvannan also in the cast.
