Suriya misses a Good Friend

The sudden demise of veteran actor Kalabhavan Mani has dealt a rude shock for the film fraternity. The multi-talented actor's mortal remains has been kept in his home in Chalakudy and the celebrities from the film industry are paying their last visit to mark their respect for the departed soul.

The social media is flurried by tweets condoling the tragic death of a great actor and film industry celebrities who have worked with Mani in their films are recounting the days they had spent with him.

Mani was as much popular in Tamil films as he was in his mother tongue Malayalam films. He has acted with Rajinikanth, VIkram. Suriya, Vijay, Silambarasan, Jayam Ravi and many other leading heroes of Tamil film industry.

Suriya has condoled the death of his former colleague and good friend in his official Twitter handle saying thus: "Respects to a great performer! A Good friend.Will cherish time spent with him ! Rest In Peace sir."

Kalabhavan Mani acted in a supporting role of a police officer in 'Aaru' which strongly established Suriya as a action hero and as the lead villain in 'Vel' which was a blockbuster hit. Both films were directed by Hari with who Suriya is presently working for 'S3'.
