Suriya - Bala movie shooting to commence on this date! Hot update

Suriya recently took to Twitter to announce his upcoming film with director Bala and shared a photo with the Avan Ivan director and his dad, Sivakumar, to share the good news with everyone. While one of the heroines of this film was finalised to be Jo, now yet another hot update about this film has arrived.
This yet to be titled Suriya - Bala project is expected to go on floors from April first week and the official announcement about the same will be made soon by the team. Suriya and director Bala's friendship go back a long way. It was director Bala's Nandha that gave Suriya a much-needed break in his career. After 20 years, he is all set to reunite with director Bala for his upcoming film.
Interestingly, this untitled film will mark the third collaboration between Suriya and Bala. In 2001, the duo had teamed up for the film Nandha, which was a massive blockbuster at the box office. Later, they teamed up for Pithamagan, which also had Chiyaan Vikram, Sangeetha and Laila in lead roles along with Suriya.
On the work front, Suriya's latest outing 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' is running successfully in cinemas. Jyothika was last seen in the movie 'Udanpirappe' alongside Sasikumar, and Samuthirakani, with Soori, Kalaiyarasan, Nivedhithaa Sathish and Sija Rose in supporting roles.
