Fifty per cent of Suriya starrer ‘Varanam Aayiram’, directed by Goutham Menon, is completed and the movie is expected to be released by August. Suriya, according to some sources, is donning the role of a military officer in the movie.

The movie is awaited with much anticipation, as Suriya teams up with Goutham after their successful venture ‘Kaakka Kaakka’. Bollywood beauty Sameera Reddy’s entry to Kollywood and Divya’s different role that spans over 13 years have further triggered the expectation.

After finishing the shooting in the USA, the shooting is now going on in New Delhi.
