Actor Suriya who had last acted in KV Anand's Kaappaan has next completed Soorarai Pottru with Sudha Kongara and this movie which was supposed to release this summer has now been pushed due to Coronavirus outbreak.

Suriya had next signed his next movie with his hit director Hari for the sixth time after Aaru, Singam, Vel, Singam 2 and Si 3 and this movie titled Aruvaa is produced by Studio Green and will have music by D Imman.

While there were initial rumours that either Master heroine Malavika Mohanan or Sultan heroine Rashmika Mandanna might play the female lead in Aruvaa, the latest reports suggest that Mugamoodi heroine Pooja Hegde who's popular in Tollywood has been approached to play the female lead in Aruvaa and an official clarification is expected soon.
