Actor Suriya's 'Si3' the third part of the blockbuster 'Singam' franchise has released amid huge expectations yesterday (February 9,2017). Here IndiaGlitz brings you the first day box office performance of the film in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

'Si3' directed by Hari and produced by Studio Green Gnanavel Raja has collected Rs.62 lakhs on day one of its release in Chennai Box Office. This is the second best opening in Chennai for a Suriya starrer after 'Anjaan'.

Trade sources reveal that the first day collections made by the film in the entire Tamil Nadu box office will touch a whopping Rs.6 crores and this will be a Solid opening for Suriya. The location wise break up of TN collections will be updated shortly.

The film has achieved such a tremendous opening despite the ongoing political turmoil in Tamil Nadu which has grabbed the attention of the people.
