Actor Suriya's 'C3' which should have released tomorrow (January 26) and the advance bookings for the tickets had started on Sunday last (January 22).

However due to the ongoing Jallikattu protests and ensuing violent clashes the makers decided to postpone the release.

Yesterday it was said that the film will be hitting the screens on February 3.

Now the makers have officially announced through the new poster, that 'C3' the third part of the blockbuster 'Singam' franchise will be released on February 9, 2017.

It is to be noted that actor Jayam Ravi's much expected film 'Bogan' has also been scheduled to hit the screens on the same date.

As of now it looks like it will be a Box office clash between Suriya and Ravi on Feb 9.

This happened in the recent past. Jayam Ravi's long delayed 'Bhooloham' released on December 24, 2015 along with 'Pasanga 2' produced by Suriya who also played an extended cameo in the film.
