The two exchanged friendly greetings, with Kajal introducing her young son Neil to Suriya. Following their warm exchange, Kajal introduced her husband, Gautam, to Suriya. The trio posed for pictures together, sharing smiles and friendly gestures before heading towards the terminal, much to the delight of onlookers.

Kajal and Suriya have only crossed paths professionally once, during the filming of Maattrraan, directed by KV Anand. In the film, Suriya portrayed conjoined twin brothers navigating complex challenges to protect their father's business from espionage.

Since her marriage to Gautam in 2020, Kajal has taken a short break from acting to focus on her family before making a notable return to the screen. She has since appeared in Tamil films like Karungaapiyam and Indian 2, as well as Telugu projects such as Satyabhama. Kajal is currently working on the Hindi film Sikandar alongside Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna and has another Hindi project, Uma, lined up.
