Actors Suriya and Kajal Aggarwal, who co-starred in the 2012 film Maattrraan, had a heartwarming reunion at Mumbai airport on Saturday. Kajal, traveling with her family, introduced her husband Gautam Kitchlu and their son Neil to Suriya, creating a memorable moment that delighted fans.

In a video captured by a paparazzo, Suriya’s surprise upon spotting Kajal is evident, as he greets her with a warm smile. The two exchanged friendly greetings, with Kajal introducing her young son Neil to Suriya. The actor shared a tender moment with Neil, who appeared a bit tired from the journey, but seemed to enjoy the interaction.

Following their warm exchange, Kajal introduced her husband, Gautam, to Suriya. The trio posed for pictures together, sharing smiles and friendly gestures before heading towards the terminal, much to the delight of onlookers.

Kajal and Suriya have only crossed paths professionally once, during the filming of Maattrraan, directed by KV Anand. In the film, Suriya portrayed conjoined twin brothers navigating complex challenges to protect their father's business from espionage.

Since her marriage to Gautam in 2020, Kajal has taken a short break from acting to focus on her family before making a notable return to the screen. She has since appeared in Tamil films like Karungaapiyam and Indian 2, as well as Telugu projects such as Satyabhama. Kajal is currently working on the Hindi film Sikandar alongside Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna and has another Hindi project, Uma, lined up. Additionally, she will make a cameo appearance in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa. Her scenes are also set to feature in Indian 3, a continuation of her collaboration with Kamal Haasan.

Suriya, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of Kanguva, directed by Siva, set to hit the screens on November 14. He is also working on a highly anticipated project with director Karthik Subbaraj, details of which remain under wraps.
