Hot star Suriya has been seen on the screen as a tough army man, a ruthless short term memory loss man and as a highly intelligent smuggler too. But off screen, he is said to be a gentleman and that too with a kind heart.

Apparently, when he was said to be shooting for the film ‘Veedokkade’ in South Africa, he had worked with few Afro- American fighters for the action sequences.

It is said that before Suriya left, he ended up giving them a huge stash of dollars and that too he gave it without counting.

The fighters were said to be overwhelmed by his gesture and Suriya has now broadened his already overflowing fan base amongst the males and that too fighters.
