The coronavirus pandemic that is holding the entire world in its grip for more than a year now shows no discrimination and affects everyone irrespective of their socio economic backgrounds. Many celebrities around the world and also in Kollywood have been affected by the deadly virus and the latest is none other than superstar Suriya.

Suriya has just revealed that he has been infected by the COVID 19 and is undergoing treatment and is well now. He has warned that everyone beware that life has not returned to normal but at the same time we cannot freeze in fear but have to tread ahead carefully. He has thanked the doctors and the medical professionals for their love and care.

On the professional front Suriya has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam's web series for Netflix titled 'Navarasa' directed by Gautham Menon and also shot for a new movie directed by Gnanavel which he also produced. He is also gearing up to shoot 'Suriya 40' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures.
