Suriya fans are eagerly waiting for the release of his next film 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara and expectations are also high among the general movie audiences after the impressive teaser, trailer and song albums became huge hits. The film based on a true story is ready and will hit the screens as soon as theaters are allowed to function after the COVID 19 pandemic subsides.

Meanwhile, there is a huge buzz in Kollywood that Suriya is going to act in the prequel of his huge blockbuster hit movie 'Ayan' that released in the year 2019 and broke all previous records at the box office. The speculations have been triggered after a fan had popped the question to director K.V. Anand and he has put up the silene emoji as if to hint that the fan should not let out the secret.

K.V. Anand and Suriya's last film together 'Kaappaan' costarring Mohan Lal and Arya was critically panned and also did not to down well with the audience. The hit combo must surely working hard to make a strong comeback and hopefully we will get the news of their project once normalcy returns.

Suriya currently is gearing up to act in Hari's 'Aruvaa' following which he will move on to Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal'. He is also playing a supporting role in a new movie that he is also producing under his 2D Entertainment banner.
