Suriya is poised to collaborate with director Karthik Subbaraj for the first time in the highly anticipated project, 'Suriya 44'. The production team recently disclosed the inclusion of notable actors such as Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Karunakaran, and Joju George in the film's ensemble cast.

The first shot of 'Suriya 44' was released yesterday, offering a glimpse of Suriya's look in the film as the shooting commenced in Port Blair, Andaman. The video begins with a rear view of Suriya gazing at the sea. As he turns to face the camera, his striking new look is revealed, exuding a vintage vibe through his costumes. This 1-minute clip has generated a huge excitement among fans and industry observers alike.

The production's commencement marks a significant milestone for this project, which is anticipated to blend Subbaraj's unique directorial vision with Suriya's versatile acting prowess, promising a compelling cinematic experience.
