Suriya one of the pillars of Tamil cinema is currently shooting for the final leg of his fantasy adventure film 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva. The film has Disha Patani as the female lead with Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music and jointly produced by Studio Green and UV Creations.

After 'Kanguva', Suriya will be acting in his 43rd film directed by Sudha Kongura that has music by GVP and produced by 2D Entertainment. The major highlight of 'Suriya 43' os the presence of top pan Indian stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nasim in parallel lead roles and Vijay Varma as the chief antagonist. It is well known that Vijay Varma is the fiance of top actress Tamannaah Bhatia and the couple fell in love during the making of 'Lust Stories 2'.

Now the hot news is that Vijay Varma is playing the title role in Suriya's Hindi debut movie 'Karna' directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. This will be Suriya's 44th film and will have him in the role of Lord Krishna while Avinash Tiwari will play the role of Arjuna.

Earlier it was reported that Suriya will be playing 'Karna' in the film but now the reports are suggesting otherwise. If this turns out to be true then Vijay Varma who is the villain of 'Suriya 43' will be playing the hero in 'Suriya 44'. Lets wait for the official confirmations as the shooting is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
